Why I started this venture.
When I first joined SL I would spend a lot of Lendens on clothes, hey no one likes looking like a newbie for too long. I happened to join a group and the group owner was a designer and they wanted models to do a set, so I went. Something he said stayed with me. He said, “You shouldn’t have to spend more than $250 Lendens on good quality clothes.” And I was spending way more than that, but he was right and from then on I started looking for good quality clothes at lower prices. I found so much great stuff for almost no Lendens at all and I was sad that I spent so much Lendens before but happy that I didn’t have to anymore.
Well, after leaving SL for a while, when I came back I decided to start a Facebook group “Style By Nas” and I ask that same designer whose words stayed with me all this time to be one of the admins of my group, so I would have someone with more fashion experience to give me advice and hope with the group. I didn’t think he say yes but after a few msg and questions he agreed to help me, which made me very happy. But there was a bigger surprise to come. He told me to start to twitter page and a blog and he gave me an office with a studio in Downtown New York. I could not believe it, OMG! I thought, is this for real? Yes it was.
So now I have my office in beautiful Downtown New York, my mentor Manis Tamatzui (Designer) at my side, my blog, twitter and Facebook group and good friends who are very supportive. (Thanks Mya, for your support. *Hugs*).
My aim: To outfit you with the best for less. I’m going to bring you good quality styles on my blog, twitter and Facebook group.
